"[ Bought ] - Sour cherries & Cream Milkshake Milkshake is definitely a grow on your as you drink! The taste was super tangy from the cream that’s use, but, as you drink more and it slightly melts, it mellows out the tart punches of sour cherry. Super rejuvenating after walking around in the summer heat + humidity [ Service ] Staff were super sweet and friendly. Answered all our questions about flavours and didn’t rush us while trying to figure out what to pick. Even offered water cause we were definitely having our butts kicked by the heat outside haha"

"Van Leeuwen is always a solid choice for ice cream. Although it is pricey, you can get one of their pints in a store at the same price as a scoop from the shop. It's still nice to go try things out though, and get unique flavors, like the Penn Quarter Porter x DC Brew, which was quite yummy"

"Stopped by Van Leeuwen Ice Cream in Adams Morgan to check out their holiday flavors. I tried the Hazelnut Chocolate Chip and the Peppermint Stick. I decided to enjoy a cup of the Peppermint Stick for a little holiday treat. It was good, creamy, smooth and minty. There were several unique flavors like the Bigface Coffee Affogato, Earl Gray Tea, and Sour Cherry Creamsicle. The atmosphere is just what an ice cream shop should be —colorful and cute. There are several Van Leeuwen’s throughout the DMV-area. If you happen to be in the mood for some ice cream and are in Adams Morgan, consider stopping by Van Leeuwen’s for a unique, frozen treat."
